Akchurin Review

Akchurin is a designer of luxury prefab homes and high-rises. They offer 4 pre-designed models ranging from 2,690 square feet to 6,490 square feet, with full customization options available. Their pre-designed homes feature an extremely modern style with sturdy steel frames, an “open” panoramic design, and “glass curtain” floor-to-ceiling windows. Inside, open floor plans and high ceilings add to the home’s airy feel.

Homes come standard with luxury green features that allow for off-grid living. The roof’s hidden solar panels store energy in a built-in lithium-ion battery, creating an “invisible” solar paneled roof. Homes also come standard with a green roof that collects, stores, and purifies rainwater. In addition to their home’s green roof features and efficient factory-building process, 97% of Akchurin’s building materials are recyclable. Sustainable glazing on the “glass curtain” walls makes the windows efficient and durable. Cables, pipes, ductwork, water storage tanks, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems are also built into the floor unit for maximum efficiency.

After placing an order and disclosing proof of funds, buyers send Akchurin a location map, site map, climate map, and all location codes/ordinances. Buyers also send the results of a boring test, groundwater table level, rainfall data, and maximum wind velocity data. Buyers then work with Akchurin to design their home based on their custom vision and build site. When the design is complete, homes are manufactured in Ackhurin’s partner factory.

It’s worth noting that Akchurin only designs and manufactures the home--it’s up to buyers to find a contractor to finish the home at the build site. A local contractor will carry out all technical tests, lay the foundation, and assemble the home. For all buyers, Akchurin sends a representative to supervise the entire installation period. For wholesale buyers purchasing 100+ houses with a minimum of 50 houses per development, Akchurin is willing to offer turn-key services.

After all components have been manufactured and assembled in the factory, homes are shipped 95% complete to the build site. To finish the exterior of the home, contractors only have to connect the columns, units, walls, and glazing. The facade, interior stairs, and utility connections will be installed on-site. All site work can be completed in 2-6 months. Homes come with a five-year structural warranty and a three-year material warranty.

Strengths:

  • Their unique “panoramic” design creates extremely open floor plans with striking views and well-lit interiors

  • Offer luxury prefab homes with smart capabilities and net-zero energy efficiency

  • Deliver custom prefab homes anywhere in the world

  • Homes can be designed and constructed for off-grid use

Reasons they might not be for you:

  • They are outside of your price range

  • Building timeline is 9-24+ months depending on permitting in your area

  • You want to work with a company than handles all phases of the build process, including site work
