Whisper Creek is a designer and manufacturer of panelized building systems for log, and timber frame homes. Based in Hamilton, Montana, Whisper Creek works with a network of dealers throughout the United States and Western Canada to offer both pre-designed and custom home panelized building kits. Stylistically, Whisper Creek offers 5 lines of floor plans with home sizes ranging from 252 square foot cabins to 6,000+ square foot homes with lofts. Additionally, buyers have the opportunity to choose from one of their existing exterior finishes: flat appalachian, round log, or craftsman style, or they can work with Whisper Creek if they would like custom siding. While all pre-designed floor plans can be modified and undergo a period of project-specific design and engineering changes, Whisper Creek has an internal team of designers and engineers that can create a fully-custom home for your project. Additionally, all of Whisper Creek’s homes are engineered to meet 2018 international building code including snow load and wind shear.
From a logistics perspective, it is important to note that Whisper Creek is only a designer/manufacturer. As such, they only manufacture and ship the panelized home kit components. It is up to a local contractor to prepare the building site, lay a foundation, assemble the panels, and finish the interior of the home however, many of their dealers are builders and can offer turn-key construction services. While most structural components of the home are included doors and the final roofing product is not included with the panelized kit.
