Tumbleweed Tiny Homes Review

Tumbleweed Tiny Homes is a designer and manufacturer of prefab tiny homes based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They offer 4 models of RV tiny homes built to the HUD standard, with multiple options for floor plan and style modifications. Their pre-designed floor plans range from 204 square feet to 259 square feet. In terms of design, their tiny home RVs can feature either a sleek modern style or a traditional cape design. Their Roanoke and Farallon designs have a modern look, with tall glass doors, wide rectangular windows, and flat roofs. The Elm and Cypress models have a cape cod style with sloped roofs, horizontal siding, loft storage space, and a small overlook porch. Interior styles range from a sleek, modern stain finish to more classical pine panelling, with a farmhouse interior available as a paid upgrade. Fully custom tiny homes are available, with personalized floor plans and exteriors.

Tumbleweed’s RV tiny homes are shipped on a permanent metal chassis. This allows them to be delivered and installed much faster than traditional stick-built houses, while also meaning easy transport for the owners. It is worth noting that Tumbleweed handles all design, manufacturing, permitting, and delivery. Homes are manufactured in their Colorado Springs factory and shipped completely finished. While their homes are delivered with furniture, lighting, plumbing, and electrical, it’s worth noting that A/C, appliances, and even front steps require paid upgrades. Discounts are available for veterans, educators, fire fighters, police, EMT, and other first responders. All tiny homes come with a 1-year warranty.
