Modal’s ADUs are built in a warehouse to the International Building Code (IBC). It is worth noting that Modal offers end-to-end services; They handle all design, manufacturing, permitting, delivery, installation, and on-site work. ADUs come with electrical, plumbing, heating. A/C, furniture, a fridge, an oven, a dishwasher, a full-size bathroom, and complete cabinetry. Homes are shipped 100% finished, leaving very little on-site work to be done. Their ADUs take 2-4 months to permit, with 2-3 days of site work, 2 weeks to build, and only 1 day to install. The entire process can be finished in under 6 months.
