Hummingbird Tiny Housing Review

Hummingbird Tiny Housing is a designer and builder of tiny homes based in Danville, Georgia. They currently offer 11 styles of mobile tiny homes which range in length from 22 feet to 40 feet, with full customization available. Hummingbird’s tiny homes come in a variety of styles, including rustic pine cabins and contemporary tiny homes. Exteriors often feature galvalume metal roofs, lap siding, and small porches. Interiors come with eastern white pine flooring, refrigerators, cooktops, stainless steel sinks, washer/dryers, cabinets, and a mix of main level and loft sleeping space. Many of their standard units come with expensive luxury features that can raise the price. For example, the standard Luxury 40 comes with a tile mural and the Jasmine model even requires buyers to work with a 3rd party tile installer to cover all surfaces with tile. Select models can also come with composting toilets, induction cooktops, convection microwaves, and other energy-saving features for limited off-grid living. However, buyers can opt to exclude such luxury features. For buyers seeking a DIY project or even greater customization, Hummingbird Tiny Homes also sells structural shells that can come with 16 on center wood framing, insulation, Advantech subflooring, galvanized metal roofing, PEX plumbing, and wiring.

All homes are built on custom trailers, with no permanent foundations available. Finished homes can be shipped to buyers anywhere in the US, only requiring simple water, power, and septic hookups before buyers can move in.
