Tiny Heirloom Review

Tiny Heirloom is a designer and builder of prefab tiny homes based in Portland, Oregon. They currently offer 10 styles of mobile tiny homes which range in lengths from 20' to 34', though they also offer fully custom tiny homes. From a design standpoint, Tiny Heirloom’s homes usually feature a sleek modern cabin look, with cedar siding, many windows, and slanted membrane or standing seam metal roofs. Interiors from Tiny Heirloom often include wood pattern vinyl flooring, LED lighting, solid surface countertops, and loft space. Homes come with fixtures and energy-efficient appliances such as apartment-sized refrigerators, induction cooktops, water heaters, wall heaters, and washer/dryer hook-ups. Off-grid options are also available with upgrades like solar paneling and composting toilets.

Tiny Heirloom only builds tiny homes on wheels (THOW), with no permanent foundations available. After the design is finalized, homes are constructed at Tiny Heirloom’s Portland headquarters. Buyers get pictures and video updates during the build. Once the build is complete, homes are put through systems tests like plumbing and electrical, plus practical quality control tests. Once homes pass these tests, they are shipped to the buyer and can be sent anywhere in the world. Buyers within the US can expect their homes to be delivered within 1 week. Homes arrive nearly turn-key, only requiring simple electrical, gas, and plumbing hookups. All homes come with a 1-year warranty for craftsmanship defects, mechanical failings, and structural integrity failures, plus third-party warranties on appliances.
