Method Homes HOMB Series Review, Cost, Floor Plans, and Photos

The HOMB series is a collaboration between Method Homes and Skylab Architecture to create small, efficient modules that combine to create unique, modern floor plans. Each HOMB module only has 100 square feet of living space. Their triangular shape allows the modules to be easily combined and expanded upon to build much larger homes. This freedom to customize means HOMB home designs range from project-to-project. Regardless of the floor plan or layout, HOMB homes often feature a sleek, modern style. Previous buyers have stacked HOMB modules at angles to create three story homes with lots of overhangs. Others have opted for a more horizontal or vertical floor plan, attaching triangular modules together for an open home that connects outdoor and indoor living.

While each module is only 100-square feet, HOMB homes can easily exceed 3,000 square feet with 3+ stories. Popular styles range from 900 square feet to 3,100 square feet. While exteriors vary widely as well, past projects have featured floor-to-ceiling windows, stained wood siding, and lots of roof overhangs. In two-story HOMB models, the second floor is often open-to-below, lending the home a high ceiling and an open, modern feel.

Method Homes HOMB Series Cost
